Scraps

Like a lot of the U.S., it's absolutely frigid here right now so I've spent a lot of time hunkered down inside. Thankfully, my craft room is one of the warmest rooms in the house (I'm perpetually cold) because I've spent a lot of time in there the past few days working on my plus quilt and sorting through scraps. A lot of sorting.

As I'm working, I put my little scraps in one basket and my larger scraps in another one. It had been several months since I cleaned either one out and since I was in need of more scraps for pluses, I hit the baskets. After several hours, I now have cleaned out baskets and tidy bags of scraps. For now I keep my small scraps in plastic bags and most of them are picked clean of anything over 2.5" x 2.5". Plus quilt layout to be revealed soon!
